40,000 Steve Gerrard Masks distributed to shoppers

From Monday 14th May 2007 St Johns shopping centre and Radio City ran a Liverpool FC promotion to celebrate the Champions League final in Athens.  The promotion gave away 40,000 Steve Gerrard masks to spectators at home and travelling to Athens with a chance to win a signed Steven Gerrard shirt and exclusive VIP hospitality for four people at Anfield, listeners wore the mask and took an unusual photo for the radio city website.
